Rosella M. Banfield, 73, Altoona, died Wednesday afternoon at Valley View Health and Rehabilitation Center, Altoona.
She was born in Clymer, daughter of the late Fred F. Sr. and Kathryn S. (Nichols) Putt.
Surviving are two daughters: Jennifer L. (John Paul II) Creuzberger of Huntersville, N.C., and Angelina K. Reed of Bellwood; three grandchildren: Maxwell D. Dulin, John P. Creuzberger III and Mara R. Reed; two brothers: Fred F. Putt Jr. of Antis Township and Jeffrey L. Putt of East Juniata; and a sister, Kathryn E. Conner of Tipton.

Rose was an excellent seamstress and was extremely talented at crocheting, crafting, quilting, pattern making and painting ceramics.
Friends will be received from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 19, 2016, at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home Inc., Bellwood. A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be at Grandview Cemetery, Altoona.
