Johnna Bowling Dillow

After high school, I married Jim Otto (class of 76). He joined the USN, and we left Pennsylvania. We had our two beautiful daughters., were married for 19 years, then divorced. I then graduated from Virginia Wesleyan University 2000. Remarried 2002. Taught elementary school in Virginia until my husband retired from the USN. We have moved to Florida. We have three grandchildren: Sabrina Geske (11), Charlie Elizabeth Combs (8) and Bowen Combs (2). Besides being a mother and a grandmother, one of my greatest claims to fame is that I had been a military wife for 32 years and am very proud of both my first husband who retired after 20 years and my second husband who retired after 32 years.

I did not begin school in Altoona until our Junior year. I made some very nice friends but was never involved in school activities. I did work at the Young Men's Shop my senior year as part of the business program. I moved from a very small town in KY to Altoona and the most memorable things were the bomb threats, boys with very long hair, and a very large school.
