Katy Adkins Gerben

I moved to Orlando, Florida, in 2002 with my boys to be close to my sister. I have worked for the Ritz-Carlton Hotel there for 5 years and love my job very much. I am a single mother of 2 fantastic boys. Our favorite time of the year is football season, as they both, of course, play. It keeps me very busy. That's basically about it. Just raising my boys and loving life!

Update: Boys are grown and gone. I'm a grandmother! And I went back to school to become a nurse. I'm a home health nurse for pediatrics and love it.

My favorite memories of High School are those of my time spent in orchestra. This is where all of my closest friends and best relationships were formed. If I could change anything, I think it would be for me to have been more outgoing as I am now. I, however, would never want to go back and redo it. I believe that life just gets better with age!
