Since graduation, I've married, had a wonderful daughter, been involved in horses and have two with another on the way right now.
I work as a Free-Lance writer, with American Classified's Scene magazine, and my husband is currently in WTAMU working toward his Equine Business and Industry Degree.
I suffered a horrific horseback riding accident Summer 08, broke my neck and walked out of the hospital. So grateful to God for each and every day He's given me!
Moral to that story? Enjoy life's every adventure, and always wear your helmet.
Every time I remember this, I bust out laughing.
In Health Occupations Class, Mrs. Gatlin stepped out of the room, and the class got bored.
Two of the guys decided to play with the mannequin that had all the removable body organs in it. (Don't remember technical term--sorry!)
I can remember the plastic liver winding up on the top of the bookcase, heart somewhere near there, and several other fake organs all over the room.:o)
Then there was the time (in the same Health Occupations class) I crept up behind my friend with the plastic leg off the demo skeleton, and scared the water out of her when I placed it on her leg (she was sitting on the floor for some reason).
Wow! That was a long time ago.
