I worked in the PICU at Northwest for several years. Then we moved to the Waco area, where I went back to school and earned my degree in Health and Safety. After graduating, we moved to Lubbock and went to work for TTUHSC.

I remember the time Mr. McConnel, the math teacher, made me go stand in the hall during class junior year for running my mouth. I wasn't sure which was more embarrassing, being told to leave or not having the guts to actually get up and walk out? So I stood in the hall for 45 minutes, went back after class just to have him tell me that I didn't have to stay out there the whole time. Then I was just even more ticked off at him. :)
