Angela Bendorf Jamison

Went to college at the University of Missouri-Columbia, where I earned a degree in ag journalism. Moved to McAllen, Texas in 1985 and worked as a newspaper reporter and editor. Moved to Milwaukee, WI, in 1988 for a job as a public relations writer working on the Dow account. Moved to Kansas City in 1993 to be with my mom who died in 1995 of breast cancer. Took a job as a corporate communications manager with BASF in Research Triangle Park in 1996 and have been in North Carolina ever since. In fact, I've now lived here longer than I've lived anywhere. I started my own public relations/advertising agency in 1998 and am grateful to have a successful business (longest I've ever worked anywhere!) Married Warner Jamison in 1999 and we're proud parents of Camryn, our daughter who keeps us busy.

I have fond memories of Ames High and look forward to our class reunions. I don't get back to Ames too often (my dad lives in Kansas City), so the reunion is a good reason to go back to visit and reunite with classmates who played a significant part in my formative years.
