WO1 David Erenstoft (Amherst Class of '67)gave his last full measure of devotion to his country in Vietnam on March 8, 1970. He lost his life while co-piloting a Huey Helicopter that crashed in a dense fog on a dangerous mission carrying South Vietnamese troops to Duc Lap to disrupt the Ho Chi Minh Trail resupply line during the invasion of Laos. May he rest in peace.
