Johnny lived a few doors down from me on North Ivyhurst all through our childhood and teen years. He was one of our better angels whose kindness and compassion were often not returned to him. His tragic accident, on an icy night working as an EMT in an emergency vehicle, left him paralyzed and unable to speak. God blesses you and keeps you, Johnny. I am sure of that. I think of you often.
