Marsha died when she was 44 (in 1994). I believe she had cervical cancer. Marsha and I were friends in High School and College. Marsha married a guy named Bernie and they moved to Rochester, NY. They later moved to Venice, Florida and then to Marietta, Georgia.
I remember Marsha as being a very caring, sensitive and intelligent woman.
Marsha had two sons and a daughter, and a photo taken of her daughter, Heather, at age 18 looked just like Marsha when she was eighteen.
I am so sorry her children lost such a wonderful mother at such a young age.
Marsha and I were best friends at St. Benedicts and all through high school. We double dated and I set her up on a blind date. Fortunately the date went well, as so often they don't. I remember one summer night we talked about whether we'd let a boy kiss us on the first date. I was all for it, Marsh was not too sure. Little did we know her father was in the next room and heard us. We were mortified that her father heard us. Oh the innocent years!
