Mr. Bald was my AP Biology teacher.  He was the adult supervision for the Biology Club and shepherded us to Cornell University each year to tour their outstanding facilities (which included the cow with a hole cut in its stomach so people could reach in and grab a handful of partially digested, well, you get it).  We did call him "Billy Bald" and my impression was that his students pretty much all liked him a great deal.  Once he did ask me if I'd heard whether there was a song about him going around.  He seemed a bit upset about it.  I went home and wrote a fairly innocuous song about him and sang it for him which seemed to put the matter to rest.  All I remember of the song was something about him running around the room marking things with a red pencil, which he did. Great teacher, great role model. Good human being.

Mr. Bald, a great science teacher. It was a pleasure to be in his class.

Nothing good to say, so I won't say anything more.
