BERMAN, DICK "MOOSE"

Dick "Moose" Bergman has ended his couragous battle with cancer.
Born in Buffalo, NY, Bergman moved to Sarasota in 1985 with his wife Amy. Together they began Wings and Weenies in 1985.
Bergman was preceded in death by his parents, Milt and Peg Bergman and brother, Kent L. Bergman. He is survived by his lovely wife, Amy (Good), daughters, Allison Blessios (George) and Tori Lee Kinmartin (Scot). Nephew Russell K. Bergman, 9 grandchildren and beloved relatives, in-laws and out-laws.
Bergman was a long standing member of the Sarasota Outboard Club, enjoyed golfing and boating throughout Southwest Florida and the Bahamas.
Bergman attended Amherst Central High School, University of Arizona and served in the military reserve.

A celebration of life will be held at the Sarasota Outboard Club, 1604 Ken Thompson Parkway (next to Mote Marine) on Sunday May 27, 2012 at 4 pm.

Arthur Allen Fay: I just received an email saying Richard C. Bergman ("Moose") from the ACHS class of 1959 has died of cancer. No further details. Anyone have any information?

Jim Chatwin: I saw Dick a few months ago at the restaurant.....we talked for awhile and he told me he wasn't doing well.....he used to date my older sister at one time in high school.....Sharon Greene ACHS '59........Dick had 2 restaurants here called "Wings & Weenies"......great wings & Sahlen hots.....his wife runs the restaurants.
