Ron Pogue

After a 34 year career with Disney, I retired as Vice President, Disneyland International in 2000. Since 2005, I live in Mazatlán, Mexico with my wife Joyce. Our children both live in Orange County.

Graduated in 1968, BS from California State University, Fullerton. At CSUF, I was the student Commissioner of Athletics and was elected into the “Who’s Who at American Universities and Colleges”. I taught for one year at Anaheim High School 1969-70. In 1966, I started a summer job at Disneyland while going to CSUF. In 1970, while working part-time at Disneyland, I was offered a promotion and a full time management position at Disneyland, so I quit teaching at Anaheim HS and went into full time management at Disneyland. I was asked to join the Tokyo Disneyland project in 1979. I spent the last 21 years at Disney working with Tokyo Disneyland, retiring as Vice President, Disneyland International and Walt Disney Attractions, Japan in 2000. I worked for Disney 34 years (1966-2000).
