I have been looking for alumni on usphonebook.com. When I found John DeBruyn, I looked at his family because none of the numbers were valid. I decided to check out an 89 year old woman on that page and it turned out to be his mother! I asked for John DeBruyn and she said he had passed away. I asked if she had a son named John DeBruyn who went to Savanna High School in Anaheim. She said, "Yes, she did, but he passed away about 19 years ago from a motorcycle accident. I felt so bad for this sweet lady that I asked her if I could pray for her. She said, "Yes, thank you so much!" I stopped and prayed aloud for her and that I interrupted her evening and reminded her of her son and husband, both who had passed away. She was so grateful that we had spoken. I can only assume that she was the mother of our Fallen Rebel, John DeBruyn. Rest in Peace!
How sweet for you to have done that for this precious lady, Kathi. You're amazing in the ways you allow God to use you to bless the hearts of so many. Keep going, my dearest friend. ~Marie
