Howard Bucklitch was one of my best friends in High School and I will always remember our rides in the pristine Chevy he had.

Howard would come by and ask do you feel like a ride. We would ride around Andover for hours, sometimes never saying a word. Just listening to music on the car radio.

I remember one time, long before self-serve, he pulled into a gas station and asked the attendant to clean to windshield. The look on the attendant’s face is something I will never forget. It was pouring rain, but Howard insisted the windshield needed cleaning.

I miss him and my other High School friends.
