Allan was a good friend with a clever sense of humor . He was an excellent writer and composed several poems that I have kept all these years. I'm sad that he is gone ; it would have been nice to see him again.

Allan and I distinquished ourselves in Mr. Reardon's history class by getting " A  4's", A for the academic grade, and 4 for the lowest effort grade that  you could get.  Allan was always correcting Mr Reardon when he gave out incorrect information.  We had great friends in Dickie Chadwick and Jimmy Krysinski.  Allen got me drunk one night and he and Jimmy planted me on my front door stoop,  rang the doorbell and ran, Thanks guys.  Allan was brillant and always had my respect.  Poor guy, he had every alergy diagosed by mankind.  John
