I have been married since 10-91. My son, Kaleb, has Type 1, Juvenile Diabetes. He did NOT get this from eating too much sugar. His antibodies attacked his pancreas and killed it. Therefore, his pancreas no longer produces insulin on its own. He has to wear an insulin pump. He has to weigh all of his food and count every carb before he can eat. He is a great kid with a big heart.
I will continue to raise money for JDRF until a cure is found for his disease.
My daughter, Riley, is a sweetheart. She is my ray of sunshine. She is a very happy kid that has never meet a stranger. It now appears that my daughter may also have juvenile diabetes. Again my kids did NOT get this from being overweight or eating the wrong stuff.
