Bring the whole family!! 

Saturday August 8, 2009

11am-2pm

The Picnic will take place at Gallup Park at the Maas Picnic Shelter (on the south side of the river - next to the playground). 

Bring your own meat to grill (we'll have hot coals and grilling tools), beverages (beer, wine, and soft drinks are permitted), AND a side dish to share (with a labeled serving utensil). 

Paper plates and plasticware will be provided. 

***From 1-2pm, Naturalist, Casey Dewar, from the Leslie Science and Nature Center will be leading children's activities and giving a presentation with a live owl.

Picnic Cost is $5/individual or $15/family (3+ family members) ...please register ahead on the site (see"Ticket Order" page) so we can plan appropriately

We are also trying to coordinate a tour of Huron High School to show off many changes since 1989 following family picnic - details tbd...
