Tracey plays trombone in two local big bands, The Last Dance Band and CLC's Monday Night Jazz Band. She enjoys working with students at an area public library. Her hubby Paul teaches music at a local high school and also plays string bass, piano and guitar in area jazz ensembles and at Lakeland Ev. Free Church in Gurnee. All 3 daughters are musical and the youngest attends Elmhurst College as a vocal jazz and cello student. The grandchildren are a big part of our lives with Lily (9), Will (5) and Alex about to turn 3.
Danish Sisterhood, Dagmar Lodge 4 in Chicago; Volunteer at Allendale's Hidden Treasures Boutique; member of Grayslake Historical Society, supporter of Love INC of Lake County
My current job, although substitute teaching was by far the most varied job I've ever had!
I love to hang out with the family, read, play music, garden and write (working on my first novel.) I'm the trombonist on Rich Rubietta's Resting Place CD and a contributor in the book "I Believe in Healing" by Cecil Murphey and Twila Belk.
Successfully raising 3 musical children - not an easy task in this day and age. After that, finishing my BA from Trinity International University and being married for more than 3 decades which I attribute to as a miracle from God, whom I've been with for 29 years now.
I absolutely love being a young Nani, although grandparenthood is much different than I expected!
I wish I'd known how amazingly beautiful being young really is and how much limitless energy is at hand!
I would not have gotten braces at 16, believe it or not. It really made me struggle musically for the next 10 years.
Without a doubt, Mr. John Whitehurst for always challenging me in English class and making me work for my grades!

Happy birthday, April! I have 3 daughters, interestingly enough.
Hi Wendy! Hope all is well with you.
Oh dear - did not know you had passed. Over 20 of our class has journeyed to the other side now. May you rest in peace, Theresa!

Thanks for the update, Betsy! You have always been a fun person. Where do you work at the Ren Faire?
Didn't know you had passed on. May Linda, Evan, Holly and Ashley find comfort in your giving and heroic ways.
