I went to college right after highschool and met my husband, Andy, there during the second semester of my Freshman year. We dated 2 years and decided we wanted to share life together starting asap, so we got married in December of our junior year. We finished school, got jobs, got pregnant! (Or at least I got pregnant). Andy got a job at Duke Hospital, so we moved back here! We're in Durham and love it! Nora is 4, and very fiery and dramatic--I have no idea where she gets THAT from. Clearly she must have her dad's temperament. Now we're joined by Bram, who was born in July. I worked as a Montessori teacher before we had Nora, and then stayed home. Now I work part time as a Waldorf Nursery/preschool teacher, and my kids are with me there too. It works great.

My clothes. What the heck was I thinking? There's no way Nora will ever leave the house like that.
The drama. I could never work with high school students. I was one of them, and I'm glad I'm not one now.
