Laura Klade Pacholke

After finishing college, I got married, moved to Tennesse and started a family. Lived in Tennessee for 7 years before relocating to sunny Tampa, Florida. I worked as a nurse for 12 years before following my passion and got into coaching. My husband and I started a girls' travel basketball organization in 2002 which has developed into a respected program both in the state as well as nationally. In 2004 I jumped into coaching High school ball. I have been at my present HS for 2 seasons as the varsity girls basketball coach and this past season was jv volleyball coach. My bball team made it to the sweet 16 in the state this year!

The girls are quite perplexed as to how I know what they are doing on their weekends! If only they knew what HS was like for me, they would understand:)

I am hoping to make it home for the reunion. My life pretty much revolves around basketball, so as long as my daughter doesn't have a tournament, should be good to go.

HS was a blast. Working with HS kids really brings back memories! There are so many memories and stories. I will never forget the night Paul Lecker's parents came home and we got so busted! I remember Fish dropped her drinks in the laundry hamper and we ran so fast-we laughed after, but man were we scared at the time. Dean-I am happy to say I have never sat in the back of a cop car since our incident sophomore year! Not sure what was worse, being in the car or my parents getting that phone call! My parents still bring that one up. I wouldn't trade my days at West for anything. I made lifelong friends at West and can't wait to catch up on the good 'ol days.
