After finishing my biology degree at UW-Milwaukee, I went to University of Cincinnati for a master's degree in human genetics. In 1996, I joined a small biotech company called Myriad Genetics, who does genetic testing for BRCA 1 and 2 - "the breast cancer genes". I now work in sales, as a Director, for the entire East Coast and have been at Myriad for over 12 years.
I got married in 2004, and had Abby in 2006. I have two stepchildren: Caitlin is 20 and is a sophomore at the George Washington University in Washington DC (30 miles from where we live), and Conor who is 18 and will be off to Penn State in the fall.
