After college in Eau Claire I ended up in Minneapolis for about a year and a half. Decided it was too cold and moved to Denver, CO. I've been here for 13 years. Met my husband 9 years ago, and for a short while I was a lead singer in a 70's Disco band. That was right after the 10 year reunion. I also sang the National Anthem for a Colorado Rockies Game.
Before kids we used to do a ton of hiking, and we've climbed a number of 14nr's (14,000 foot mountains). We enjoy the mountains as much as possible with skiing, snowboarding, camping, and hiking. My husband was a professional motorcylce racer for 11 years and gave that up about 2 years ago. We're starting Cory on the dirt bike, maybe he'll take after his dad.
For about 10 years I was a corporate trainer and instructional designer. I facilitated Management and Leadership Development classes. I recently quit corporate america, and we're focusing on real estate investments. We're also talking about opening up a Crepe shop.
Mostly my time is spent with the kids and working on the business or the house. We're do-it-yourselfer's and could probably have our own show by now with the renovations we've completed.
