I went to college at UW-Oshkosh, where I received my Bachorlers Degree in Arts and Science for teaching. My degree is Special Education K-9th grade working with ED/BD and Early Childhood with Special Needs. However, since having my children, I had decided to have a daycare in my home. I am licensed and do a preschool curriculum with the children. I have been doing this for 12 years now. My plan was to stop after my children went to school full-time, but I truly love what I do, and always have a full house! I have a waiting list to get in here, so as of now, I don't know when I will quit. If and when I do decide to stop running my daycare, my next love is animals. I am involved in rescuing cats, as well as a program called Cats Anonymous, in which we Trap/Nueter/Release stray and ferrell cats, in hopes of reducing the population of unwanted cats. I have 5 cats of my own also! I love all animals, and would help any animal in need.
I studied abroad in England during my time at UW-Oshkosh, and that is where I met my husband. After studying in England, I spent a month backpacking through Europe and had the best time!
Also, my ten year old daughter wants to be an actress (has wanted to since she was 3 years old!), and has so far been in 2 independent films in the Milwaukee area. If anybody has any connections in the LA area, or any suggestions of agencies in that area, any info would be appreciated! She is very good at memorizing lines and getting into character. We plan at some point to take her to CA, but first I would like to get some leads rather than go there blindly. She would be grateful for any ideas! She will be signing with a model/talent agency in Milwaukee soon, but CA is her dream. Thanks! :)
