After graduating from high school, went to Tyler Junior College for a year and came home then got accepted at Texas State University where I lived for 6 years. I got into Social Work and Sociology and working with teenagers there. I thoroughly enjoyed floating the river there in San Marcos and New Braunfels. Soon after graduation I moved back home to Arlington and got into teaching. At this time, I'm in the process of getting my alternative teaching certification so I can teach middle school and continue my passion for working with teenagers. I hope to get a teaching job soon and eventually go back to school and get my master's in school counseling.

The main thing that I did in high school and the only thing I cared about was playing varsity softball. I played on the varsity softball team at Martin and was given the Sportsmanship-Congeniality award during my senior year, and for that I have my name posted on the batting cages there at Martin. I guess I got to leave my mark somehow.
