40th High School Reunion

October 21st - 23rd

Join us for a Friday Night Happy Hour at The Front Page in Ballston beginning at 6 PM in the private back room. Casual dress.

And for the main event Saturday night, we will be returning to The Front Page but expanding into the adjacent Atrium at Stafford Place for dinner, music, dancing and great conversation from 7 PM to 1 AM. Business casual or cocktail attire suggested but not required.

We have selected this venue because of its convenient Arlington location where you can stay at hotels next door or just a few blocks away (see information about Accommodations at the bottom of this page) and use public transportation to the Ballston Metro if you are coming in from Metro accessible locations or flying in to Reagan National Airport.

We also have arranged for a tour of Yorktown High School at noon on Saturday as it has changed dramatically from our days there.

No organized event is planned for Sunday but there may be small groups getting together informally. So plan to spend the entire weekend catching up with old friends and making new ones!

Everyone should register on our ClassCreator.com website even if you don't plan to attend as this will be the best way for us to get word out to everyone about final details, how to register, who is coming and who is still missing. You will be listed as missing until you sign up on the site, so please sign up even if you won't be attending the reunion so we have your current contact information. Here is the current "Missing Classmates List." We may have old contact information for many of them but no current verified e-mail, so they may not know about our upcoming reunion. If you know where any of these classmates are, please contact them to sign up, or send their e-mail address or other contact information to us at yorktown76@gmail.com. We also have a Facebook Group and a Facebook Page that you can sign up for or "Like" to keep informed. We are also looking for more volunteers to help with the event. Some of you responded to the survey that you were interested in helping but didn't put in your name, so please e-mail yorktown76@gmail.com if you would like to help out.

ACCOMMODATIONS:

The Ballston Metro is connected to the building where the event will be held, as is the Hilton Arlington, while the Westin Arlington Gateway is just a short 4 minute walk away. Both hotels charge extra for parking so public transportation is encouraged.
