Thanks Kathy for posting the correct obit. Dennis Byrnes had found it and sent to me but was glad you posted it here. Hope you are well. Brett was a good sole and will be missed. Bicintinial bums the class of 76 is thinning out.. damn. old farts we are.
It's hard to believe i knew must of you from elementry and middle school. Thanks for letting us know Bob and Kathy. Knew Brett well in school but never stayed in touch. It is hard to believe we are 62/63/64. I noticed no one has updated J Adams in memory. Wasn't she the one that died in a car accident coming back from a beach trip after school in '76.
Yep, as I wrote to Advent, I remember seeing Brett a few years ago (I don't know whether it was 2017 or 2018, but pre-pandemic, before my parents really began to decline), and my nephew Henry wanted to restore a phonograph (which is still sitting in the closet!)...we went to the repair place in Falls Church and there was Brett! They had every old stereo, tape deck, phonograph, TV, VCR, imaginable. And Brett knew how they were all put together. Great sense of humor.
Brett and I played soccer together. I was the goalie and he was one of my fullbacks, the other being Gino. Mr. Allen was the coach. We share a lot of good memories from all those decades ago. Brett was a great guy may he rest in peace and may we never forget him.
May God have mercy on his soul and may he rest in peace! While I remember Brett from school, I knew him better from Charlie's Pizza. He was there almost every single day and his shop was near us... Memory eternal

Time goes by and with it, more and more of us.
