Obituary:

Richard E. Kirk, 79, of Ocean Twp., passed away on December 21,2023 with his loving son Richard K by his side.

Richard was predeceased by his wife of 54 years Beatrice (Wile) Kirk, his parents Harry and Cleo Kirk, and his brother Harry Kirk Jr.

Richard served in the Navy for 4 years. Upon discharge he worked for the US Post Office out of Holmdel until his retirement. He was also a school crossing guard for the Ocean Township School system for 21 years. Richard loved everyone of his children he kept safe. Richard was also involved in Scouting for many years. He loved spending his summers at the beach and traveling to Disney world as much as possible.

Surviving are his sister Deborah Kirk Verielle, his in laws Diane Kirk and Linda Bennett and husband Michael, his nephews William Bennett and wife Amy, Douglass Bennett, Christopher Bennett and wife Jamie, his nieces Karen Kirk, Kathleen Kirk Yurevitze and husband John, Kimberly Kirk Constantino and husband Chris, and several grand nieces and nephews.
