Since graduating I have worked as a cashier/Teller at Safeway and Foodlion, both in Sterling. I met Greg in July 1984 and we were married Sept. 7, 1985 and have been happily married for 23 years. After having both of my children...when I became fat and sassy... I became a stay at home mom and babysat. In 1999 we moved into our new house, which we share with my parents in Shenandoah County. It sits in the woods on 17 acres and we see lots of wildlife including black bear, bobcats, turkey, mountain lion, coyote, fox, etc... It's been a blast. Greg and I became involved with the local fire department when we were talked into joining due to the lack of active volunteers. I am a driver-pump-operater and can operate the hose for brush or wild fires but mostly I run the trucks. I am also an EMT-B and have seen many things I thought I never would. I am also the secretary of the fire department...which is a job no one seems to want and I can understand why. For those of you who ride 4-wheelers, we have a very popular ATV trail located below the Woodstock Tower. If you ride...PLEASE be careful...I'd hate to have to come pick you up. Most of the time it takes 2-3 hours just to get the people out of the trail to the ambulance and then you get a helicopter ride to the closest trauma center!
I remember taking Ms. Ball's bus to Vo-Tech. The people in the back would smoke and as soon as the smoke would reach the front she would just turn on her fan to blow it back or out the window. And who let the greased pigs in the cafeteria one year?
In 2007 our son wrestled in the heavy weight class at his highschool.

This is a partial picture of a black bear on the property. It was taken with a game camera. You think I'd stand out there and take one that close? They're cute but not that cute.
