Where do I start?!?!?! How about LIFE HAS BEEN GOOD TO ME! I'm healthy, happy, still young at heart and and try to stay young at body. My family is still all here and my nieces and nephews make me laugh.
I lived in Virginia till the ripe of age of 40 and then decided I needed a break from what we call reality. I gave myself a birthday present and decided to travel around the world...specifically I backpacked around the world for two years. It was a great present!
I have been blessed to be able to complete that task physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. It has reaffirmed my belief that most people are good and that the world is a beautiful place. Humor is the best medicine and when you have time, there is a load of patience. It gave me the opportunity to reassess the things we want and need...and now I need very little but still want some.
Upon my return to culture shock, I admit it took sometime to think things through on what is important.
Regardless, I now live in Florida and find the pace much more civilized than up North, the mojitos better by the beach...and the beach a haven of all things. I just got here and am learning my way around...but life is good and when I need to think I listen to Matthews on my IPOD.
I still hope to find my love of life and feel quite sure he will be 10 years younger than I....and he will still need to keep up with me. Life has been good to me. My Mom's gene's have preserved my skin. The working out has somewhat preserved the body and the spirit has preserved my humor. I am thankful to say that all of them have preserved my youth. The rest just comes at it may..or falls where it will.
I am happily married to an amazing man that makes me laughs, puts up with my travel passion, gives back with me and also is adored by my entire family. We live happily in South Florida as we both manage the requirement of executive jobs, being there for our parents and living life to our fullest.
I would love to see everyone and chuckle over the memories of CORN FIELD HIGH, with fond thoughts.
