I graduated high school from a school in the Atlanta area called Brandon Hall. I went to Pfeiffer College in North Carolina for two years. I spent my junior year abroad in Mexico City at the University of the Americas. Fabulous time, I was there the year before the Olympics in '68. I returned to the States and went to Chapel Hill, where I graduated in '71. I proceeded to live in Chapel Hill for a year, teaching school, and then decided to go to go for my mastersl at Antioch Graduate School in Peterborough(Keene), New Hampshire. I ended up with a double major in Clinical Psychology and School Administration. After graduating in '73, I taught at Miami Dade Community College for several years. I was particularly passionate about the envirnoment, and helped to sponsor numerous events through the College. Earth Day was the one which allowed me to attract more people. In 1975, I was able to bring Buckminister Fuller to Miami for Earth Day by trading two weeks in our family compound in Key Largo. Bucky got $5,000 per speaking engagement. I feel blessed to have gotten to know the "Leonardo Davinci of our times". He told me to make my avocation, my vocation, and my vocation, my avocation. I did this over the next few years, and in 1979, formed Pollution Solutions, a company specializing in water and air treatment solutions to pollution problems. The water division is similar to what Culligan Water does. We do residential, commercial, and industrial treatment, specializing in reverse osomosis systems for fresh and sea water.
