Comments:
After Asheville, I went to Davidson College for a BA - later Emory for MBA. I spent my junior year in France while at Davidson and still spend time there once in awhile. I'm not quite sure what I did between then and now. "Life is what happens while you're making other plans." I'll try to think of how to update this later.
I taught high school in private schools for a couple of years, then imported & sold industrial work gloves. I'm still in the hardware business against my will – maybe out by July. I manage my farm and raise pine timber. I'm slowly converting the forest from loblolly to long-leaf pine. I travel and devote some of my time to conservation efforts in South Carolina. I live there part time on the Pee Dee River on what was a rice producing plantation before the Civil War. I live in Atlanta when I'm not in S.C.
