Lois Denise Roark Norman

Went to Nursing School in Charleston, West Virginia, got CMA nursing license, worked at Woodland Oaks Nursing Home, part-time for Kings Daughter Home Health. Then had a mini-stroke, had to quit working. Years later, worked part time nursing and met the most wonderful man, Eric Norman, which we are married and living in Columbus, Ohio. Happiest I have ever been, God sent this man to love me and my kids and God is great! He works at Speer Construction and has for 25 or more years, he is getting ready to be able to retire, hopefully end of 2017 and we are headed to live our life at the ocean , God willing!

I have never ever liked my appearance and always felt less than everyone else, but I had many good friends that I still have since high school. Charlene and Charlotte Butcher, we were neighbors, best friends and done everything together. Jimmy Crow, Keith, Kevin Howard, always would yell SCOOBY-DOO a nickname I was given and still have, but they were always fun and good to me. There are too many people to mention that I loved and they were so good to me, but two girls that had me laughing everyday and we always had a good time was Lana Stapleton and POLYWOP! That's hard to even say her name, because I had talked to her on facebook weeks before she passed, and that was tough to take, I realized then life is short, and we don't know when God is going to take us home, so we need to live life to the fullest, live it like it's our last day and always keep God first!
