The last 30 years has been quite a journey. Some of it fun, some of it not so fun, but none of it has been boring. We left Ashland in 1997 when Ashland and Marathon merged and have been in Houston TX since then.

That ended up being a good thing, in that it placed us close to one of the best medical complexes in the world. My wife has been challenged with serious problems, requiring multiple surgeries.

I have worked in and around the energy industry, specializing in commodity trading and risk management. My jobs over the past eight years have allowed me to travel all over the world.

Although I have enjoyed my work, my real passion over the past few years has become diving, and I am currently working on my DiveMaster Certification. When I become independently wealthy, I'm moving to Aruba and opening a dive shop.

Hurrican Ike was quit the experience this past year. My parents were in town to help with Babby's latest surgery, and we all rode it out here at the house. We had windows blow out, were out of power for over two weeks, I wore out two chain saw blades, and just completed outdoor repairs in December. The indoor repairs were finally completed by the end of March. Next time, I think we will evacuate.

Senior PE class, the trampoline, a certain blond (Label Witheld) trying to do a front flip for her final exam .......... while on acid.

Watching the very proper Mr. Doss slip on the ice, land spread eagle on his ass and slid half way down the hill from buildings 3 and 7.

The Inferno, The In Between, The Mad Hatter, Gino's Pub, Verb's 10th Inning and all the other places that I'm thankful I got home from alive (we were pretty stupid back then).

Oh yea, and as Ms. Meyers gym aid, throwing in her student teacher in the pool on her last day (she was wearing the new sweat suit Ms. Myers had bought for her as a gift), being sent to Coach Conley, and him laughing so hard he couldn't even swing the paddle very hard.

Before he won and became famous, I hung out with David Cook a lot when I was traveling to Tulsa ever week for work. What you saw on Idol is really what David was like, genuine guy, and much better when he is singing his own music and not the Idol pop crap.
