As Soon as I graduated I went into the United States Marine Corp. (1979-1983). As soon as I got out of the Marine Corp. I joined the Kentucky State Police. I was a Trooper for 18 years and then made Detective. I was a Detective for the State Police for four years. I retired with the State Police October 01. 2005 after serving 22 years. I am now currently working at the Carl Perkins Federal Building in Ashland as a Court Security Officer through the United States Marshal Service.
I am married to my wonderful wife, Lisa. We have been married since June of 2002. We have four children. Three girls and one boy.

Going into the Marine Corp and then becoming a police officer.
