Susan Kay Cross of Hewitt, Texas, passed away Saturday, September 6, 2014 at Providence Hospital. Susan was born December 28, 1948, in Ashland, Ohio, to Bill and Lois Landis. She enjoyed traveling, cooking for her family, collecting antiques, her pets, reading, playing cards and spending time with family and friends. She worked at the Baylor University Library, was a homemaker and a member of Lakewood Christian Church in Waco. She had a kind heart and a gentle sense of humor. She was preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Richard Cross, of Hewitt; her mother, Lois Marie Landis, of Waco; Texas, one son, Jonathan Jay Cross and wife, Tara, of Princeton, Texas; one daughter, Elizabeth Ann Cordero and husband, Randy, of San Antonio; one granddaughter, Acacia Jade Cross, of North Richland Hills, Texas; one grandson, Dalton Krempin-Cross, of Copperas Cove, Texas; and one step-grandson, Raven Montelongo, of Princeton.
