Bob was a very close friend of my husband, Robert Steinmetz, and although i knew him at MA too, i really got to know him after Robert and I married. He was so full of life and laughter, and so generous with his friends. He will be missed this October. Best, Elaine
My favorite memory of Bob was when we were Juniors or Seniors and a bunch of us went up to Tahoe ... Bob spent an indordinate amount of time rowing around in a canoe. His perfect "burlap" looking more like a Mohawk. I never knew if he had any Cherokee blood, but he sure had me believing he did. So many great memories - like his wedding on the Dixie Queen where my husband and I ended up having dinner with the newlyweds on their wedding night - very unplanned !! I can still see his great smile ... always a little devious !! He was a good guy.
