I am a Director with Ignite, powered by Stream Energy, and a Serial-Entrepreneur-Intrapreneur & Small Business Manager.
Single, married, kids, etc.?
Stacie and I have been Blessedly and Happily Married since December 1999. We celebrated our Tenth Wedding Anniversary Honeymoon in December 2009 with a splendid Ten Day Cruise to ports in South & Central America and Mexico. We were introduced on a blind-date in December of 1997. Stacie works in Pediatric Neurology with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite, Egleston and Hughes Spalding, as a PRN Registered Nurse, and at WellStar Cobb as a PRN Registered Pediatric Emergency Nurse.
Living with us in our Home are…Helen, our sixteen-year-old Brown Tabby Cat, that Stacie rescued from a dumpster in 1995 – Helen literally is blind, one-eyed, and three-legged…Crystal, a five-year-old Bichon-Maltese-Poodle mix that we rescued four years ago - Crystal has all of her parts, in case you were wondering…Einstein, a one-year-old Cockatiel we rescued last year, and a tank of Exotic Fish.
Hobbies & Interests, etc.?
Stacie and I enjoy bird watching, reading for personal development, speaking Spanish, tending our roses, and walking, while planning to expand our family in the not-too-distant future. Our travels include the Caribbean, Mexico, New England, and Germany. We were married at Atlanta Unity Church, and now attend several Churches in the Greater Atlanta area. Stacie and I have NO cable, NO dish, NO satellite – ONLY an antenna in the attic, and a thirteen-inch Magnavox with one of those new-fangled analog-to-digital broadcast television converters.
Stacie and I happened to graduate from the same University, Kennesaw State University, but we did not know each other while we were in school. Stacie graduated from the School of Nursing in 1998. I graduated Summa Cum Laude 4.00 with a Bachelors of Business Administration from the Michael J. Coles College of Business at KSU, in Kennesaw, Georgia, in 1996.
I completed my University Degree after a Glorious sixteen years of off-and-on study. My Degree includes an intensive concentration in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management, with Spanish as well. I have worked as a business professional for many years, and I have gained extensive business experience in not-for-profit, information technology, automotive and retail, commercial and residential real estate, and construction, engineering, maintenance, and manufacturing environments, including living and working full-time in New Mexico and Venezuela.
I am an Eagle Scout with Three Silver Palms, a Member of Order of the Arrow, and a Member of the Philmont Staff Association, Boy Scouts of America…a 1980 Graduate of the Boys School from The Westminster Schools, Atlanta, Georgia…a 1981 Initiated Member of the Beta Iota Chapter of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity, Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, Georgia…a Member of the National Eagle Scout Association…a Licensed Georgia Real Estate Commission Salesperson (Retired)…a Charter and Founding Member, and Past-President of The Business Alumni Club at Kennesaw State University…and a Georgia Insurance Commission Life, Accident, Sickness, and Health Insurance Agent Licensee (Retired).
If you have Honoured me by reading this far, thank-you for your personal interest. And, if you elect to do so, take the next step…I always make time to meet family and friends for a dinner or a lunch, a Coke-pop-soda or a water, so please give me a call on my mobile telephone or email me.
I Truly Remain,
Joseph Wesley
