Being 1st cousins with only 1 month between birthdays, I had known Julie during all of her too short life. It was great sharing our high school years together as, not only cousins, but close friends. I was with Julie at the end of her ALS experience, which she took with grace and class.
Julie and I were close friends in school. I loved her deep, happy laugh. When I went to work after school at the grocery store my Dad managed he told me he would hire two of my friends.....I chose Julie and Paula. As I remember Paula didn't like the job but Julie and I worked together and had a good time. She was a brilliant young woman and a good friend. Rest in Peace.
I knew Julie from kindergarten on. She lived down the street from me. She and her brother, Jack, were such good friends of mine and she was always so sweet. What a caring person she was. Blessings always on you, Julie. It's always so hard to believe you are gone.
