Attended Mercer University for a year, and then went to West Georgia and graduated in May, 1966. Jimmy and I were married at Beecher Hills Baptist Church on August 6, 1966. I worked for Atlanta Public Schools for four years until Eric was born in 1971. We lived in the Atlanta area until 1973, when we moved to Austin, TX. Our daughter, Julie, was born in 1976 and I was a stay-at-home mom until 1984 when I went to work for the Round Rock Independent School District. I retired in 2005 and enjoy being "Mimi" to three wonderful grandkids.
School Story

Sneaking a kiss from Jimmy while in the stairwell. It was during class so one or both of us had hall passes!!
