FAQ

1.    When is the 20th year Class Reunion?

The reunion is planned for November 27th and 28th of 2009.  That’s the weekend after the Thanksgiving holiday.

2.    Where is the 20th year Class Reunion being held?

The Friday night 1980’s Mixer/Welcome Party is being held in the upstairs portion of the AC Bar and Grill.

The Saturday night event is being held at Sophia’s restaurant in Margate, New Jersey.

Maps/Directions to both locations are on the Reunion Page.

     3.    Why is the reunion being held there?

The reunion committee viewed numerous sites that all (in one way or another) had certain aspects that were conducive to the needs of our event; however, after the 10th year reunion, we learned various things regarding the needs and wants of the attendees.  This location is elegant, the right size, and the service is wonderful.  The prices (food and beverage) were the best of them all also!

4.    How much does the reunion cost?

The price of the reunion is $95.00 per person.  The price covers both Friday and Saturday events together.  The committee wishes to discourage classmates from making a choice between the two events.  For example, some may choose the least expensive event, which of course is not the actual reunion.  Therefore, making the reunion the least attended event.  That would certainly defeat the purpose of the 20th year Reunion.  The committee understands and sympathizes with those strongly affected by the economic crisis/recession; however, we are hoping that classmates started preparing long before now for this event.  If they haven’t, that’s ok.  One can start now by saving just $20.00 per month to pay for their ticket.

5.    What does that price cover?

The price covers both days, Friday night and Saturday night.  Both nights together total the $95.00.  For example:

Friday Night:

·       Finger Foods

·       DJ

·       80’s Memorabilia

Saturday Night:

·       2 Hour Open Bar

·       Butler served hors d’oeuvres’

·       Dinner Buffet consisting of an array of poultry, meat, seafood, etc.

·       DJ

·       Reunion Memorabilia

·       DVD Montage

7.    Who can I contact if I have more questions?

8.    Will this website still be in existence after the reunion?

Yes, we hope to post pictures of the reunion weekend soon after the events.  We would also like all classmates to have access to one another via this website.  This will also help anyone planning a future event by allowing them to post it on the website.  Also, those planning the next reunion will already have access to classmates.

9.    How do I get my name on the class profile?

Advise Gena Dorn via email.  Under normal circumstances, your information will be added within 24 hours.  Be sure to include your email address and/or contact number in the request.  Only those who graduated or were suppose to graduate with that class will be added.

14.    Can we pay at the door?

All money is due by November 1, 2009.  We understand last minute decisions; however, the restaurant is requesting a final head count several weeks before the event.

15.    Is the website updated often?  CAUTION!!!!

We encourage all to view the site periodically for updates and/or changes.  The change will only come from Gena Dorn or Paul Barbere, the website administrators.  If anyone other than those two people is circulating information regarding changes in dates, venue, location, cost, etc., DISREGARD!   IT IS A FRAUD!!!

16.    How should I dress for the 80’s Mixer/Party?

We would love for this event to be as festive as possible.  Therefore, we encourage all to dress in 1980’s attire.  If for some reason you choose not to, you are still more than welcome to attend.  Denim and sneakers are permitted!
