Hello fellow classmates!
I just want to tell everyone who was unable to make it to our 30th class reunion for one reason or another, we missed you! Speaking for myself, I had an unbelievable time both Saturday and Sunday. There were many in attendance who I have not seen for 30 years. The funny thing was....when we started talking and laughing...those 30 years washed away...it seemed like only yesterday. I know some people were concerned how everyone would interact. They were apprehensive about the "cliques" from our school days and didn't know how they might fit in after all these years. Let me reassure you 30 years changes people and the past is the past. Everyone mingled and took pictures together..we were like a "family" this past weekend and I miss my "family". =c) So when 2015 comes around and we are preparing for our 35th reunion, please consider attending, you will not regret it!
Sharon Long Melon did an amazing job organizing this memorable event. Thank you Sharon! Those of us on the committee looked forward to our meetings and enjoyed the entire process. I believe she has agreed to once again head up our next reunion in 2015!!! It can't come soon enough.
