AUBURN/ORLANDO, Fla. - Barbara Zibbon, 50, wife of Michael Curley, passed away to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012, at her Orlando, Fla., home. Born in Auburn, to Peter and Stephany Zibbon, she went to the Orlando area after graduating from the Rochester Institute of Technology with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Technology. She was formerly employed by the Orlando Sentinel as a Senior Production Systems Analyst. Survivors include her husband, Michael; brother, Mark, his wife, Dianne and daughter, Laura, of Endicott; aunt, Antoinette 'Auntie' Zibbon; cousin, Dolores Basha and husband, Roger, of Auburn; as well as her beloved bunny, Bug. Barbara was a wonderfully quirky soul who will be dearly missed by her family, friends and all those who shared in the pleasure of her infectious laugh. She'll especially be remembered for her deep love and caring of the special people in her life. Visitation will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 23 in St. Hyacinth Roman Catholic Church, Auburn, followed by a service at 11 a.m. and internment at St. Joseph's Cemetery. A gathering of her friends in her remembrance will occur in Orlando at a date to be determined. Arrangements are by the Nicpon Funeral Home.
