November 2, 2003 Mary I. Geherin, 92, of Auburn, died Sunday, November 2, 2003 at Auburn Memorial Hospital. A native of Auburn, Mary attended Holy Family Grammar School and Central High School, class of 1927. She graduated from Nazareth College in 1932 and received her Masters Degree from Syracuse University and a degree in physics from Cornell. She taught science and mathematics at East and Auburn High Schools for forty nine years. Calling hours will be Tuesday, November 4 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Langham Funeral Home, 75 E. Genesee St., Auburn. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Fleming. Contributions in Mary's memory may be made to St. Joseph's School, Genesee St., Auburn.
