James B. "Jimmer B" Breck, 61 of Case Avenue died Monday, May 25, at his home. A native of Auburn, Jimmer was a fan of the New York Giants and was employed by Red Hawk in Syracuse. He was well known at Swifty's Tavern, his favorite hang-out spot. Having a tremendous sense of humor, Jimmer lived to make people laugh. He enjoyed dancing and was a self taught chef. He wanted nothing more than to enjoy his time with his loving family including his two daughters, nieces and nephews, as well as his many, many friends.

Jimmer is survived by his two daughters Erin and her fiancé Matt and Meagan and her boyfriend Joe, all of Thousand Oaks, CA; his longtime companion Janice Regis of Auburn; brothers Billy Breck and his wife Toni of Auburn and Richard and his wife Beverley of Missouri; two sisters Janine Graney of Skaneateles and Jackie Breck of Auburn; and several nieces and nephews including his god daughter Jamie Breck Golembeski. In addition to his parents James an Felicia Syrocki Breck, Jimmer is predeceased by a brother Mark.

Friends are invited to join the family for a mass of Christian Burial to be offered Saturday at 1 pm in St. Alphonsus Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Calling hours for Jimmer will be held Friday from 4 to 8 pm in the Cheche Funeral Home Inc., 1778 Clark Street Road, Auburn.
