A lifelong resident of Auburn, Robert was a graduate of Auburn High School with the Class of 1971, St. John Fisher College and held masters degrees from Nazareth College and St. Bernard’s /Colgate Divinity College.

He was the son of the late Alphonso and Mary Catalano Schillagi and is survived by a brother.

Private services were held at the convenience of the family, and interment was held in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
