I went to St Francis of Assisi school with Debbie, too. She lived within walking distance of the school. I remember walking to her house, though I don't remember why. Debbie was a kind friend, a bit quiet and always a safe friend to be around. Kids in school could be unpredictable, but Debbie was not. I can picture her now in her navy uniform with navy knee sox. We miss you, Debbie.
