Jeffrey Boehler - Class Of 1973 VIEW PROFILE

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Jeffery Alan Boehler, 63, passed away on Monday, April 2, 2018, at his home in Greensboro after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his loving family.

Jeffery was born on Jan. 18, 1955 in Auburn, N.Y. He graduated from Auburn High School and St. John Fisher College with a B.S. in business administration. He was the environmental health and safety manager for 20 years for Ball Corporation in Reidsville, N.C.

He was an avid reader who also enjoyed working on his cars, listening to classical and rock music, and spending time with his family.

Jeffery was preceded in death by his parents, Winfield C. Boehler and Jane McCarthy Boehler, and his maternal uncle, Donald McCarthy.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 30 years, Eileen Fabrize Boehler; his daughter, Erica Boehler, of Greensboro, N.C.; along with his siblings, Charles (Pamela) Boehler, of Hamburg, N.Y., Diane (William) Kaufman, of Okeechobee, Fla., and Stephen (Robin) Boehler, of Mercer Island, Wash.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jeffery’s wishes were to be cremated and laid to rest in his hometown of Auburn, N.Y. Calling hours will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 12, at White Chapel Funeral Home, 197 South St., Auburn. A funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 14, in Sacred Heart Church, with burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery immediately following.
