after graduation i headed to the big city of madison with rochelle to attend cosmetology school. i worked at a salon for a year before deciding to get an associates degree in early childhood education. i taught in downtown madison for seven years before opening my own home daycare in deforest in 2000. ( my sister, ana, lives next door to me in an adjoining duplex.)
over the past five years i have discovered yoga, playing the djembe, meditation and have even become a fish eating vegetarian!
i am recently divorced and have been very fortunate to find my soulmate in sumner matteson. he has a 12 year old son, liam, and is an avian ecologist who works for the DNR bureau of endangered resources in madison.
