Joined NAC when I left school for a 2 year Cadetship
Then went into Sales in the Commercial Laundry and Drycleaning industry.
That took me to Australia, where I moved to in 1986.
Worked in the freight industry until 1994.
Joined Telstra in 1994 and spent the next 20 years in Sales, promotions and sales management
School Story

Loved Mt Albert Grammar.
Never brilliant in class but loved the sport.
Played 1st 11 in soccer, 1965-67, becoming captain in 1967.
Also was lucky enough to become a prefect in 1967.

Mike Blamires, John Scott, Wilson, woodwork teacher.

I remember you very well. Playing soccer in 1st 11. Shame you didn’t carry on with that, but then you discovered other interests. Paul Codd and I did go on. Unfortunately Paul left us in 2021. Hope you have a great birthday
For your info for the last two years a few of us meet up in November sometime when I travel back to NZ from Sydney.

At last I have opened this MAGS site. Hope you had great birthday Brian.
All the familiar names so good to see. I caught up with Bernie. Robert Rae and Alan Burton last November for lunch ( I’ve lived in Sydney since 1986) am coming back at the end of November ( my twin boys, men now, birthday) hope to catch up again, perhaps some others may be interested in having lunch
