Cindy Cottle Wheeler

I moved back to my hometown of Columbus, Georgia in 1977, and married in 1979. We had a son and a daughter in 1981 and 1983. When my children started school, I began my career as a kindergarten and first grade teacher. Later, I returned to Auburn University to complete my Masters degree in Educational Media. Most of my teaching years were spent as a Library Media Specialist.
In 2007, I retuned to Augusta, where I continued to work as a Media Specialist in Richmond County Schools. I also married my high school and college sweetheart after many years apart. I retired "a little early" in 2013. I enjoy spending time with my grandsons whenever I can.

I think I was one of the most quiet girls at ARC. In spite of that, I had a lot of good friends, several of whom are still my good friends today. The funny thing is, no one seems to believe I was ever quiet!
